Annual Travel Insurance
So many people love to travel nowadays, the notion of travelling
to a new destination and seeing a new Country or new City can be
a great experience. What better way to recharge the batteries and
invigorate you, get a sun tan sample the local cuisine or just take
in the surroundings.
If you are a regular traveller then it can be a good idea to take
out annual travel insurance this will work out cheaper than if you
take out separate travel insurance policies each and every time
you travel.
Annual travel insurance, also known as multi trip travel insurance
is a very good option for those who regularly travel abroad, especially
if you are one of the many that makes several trips each year, be
it for business or pleasure. The main advantage of taking out this
type of policy is the financial savings that can be made. Terms
and conditions will vary between policies, but you will be able
to get insurance cover for unlimited journeys, saving you money
time and effort.
An annual travel policy would normally cover an unlimited amount
of journeys abroad during the course of the year’s insurance,
where each trip will have a maximum time limit, normally 31 days.
There could be restrictions regarding being insured for both, business
and pleasure trips, so you will need to carefully check the travel
insurance policy carefully to make absolutely sure you have adequate
cover.
If you plan to take part in sporting activities while travelling
you can get insurance cover for this if you ask the insurer. Some
of the more sporty travellers might want cover for jet skiing, rafting,
canoeing, snowboarding etc. You just need to make sure that you
are covered for your particular sporting activity, again make sure
you read the terms and conditions carefully.
So if you were a serious traveller we would recommend taking out
annual travel insurance to save on the fuss and time consumption
of arranging separate policies each and every time you travel. Just
make sure that you read through the policy (small print included)
so you are totally covered and last of all, happy travelling.
